You will be responsible for managing and coaching our sales staff, driving lead generation efforts, enhancing brand awareness, and ensuring the consistent achievement of sales goals. This is a key leadership role designed to implement scalable, cost-effective sales strategies across our organization.

Travel – This is a travel role, and we’d expect time across the country with prospects and Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Training & Coaching: Lead the development and delivery of ongoing sales training programs to ensure our team is well-equipped to meet sales targets. Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to sales staff to improve performance and skillsets.

  • Operational Coaching & Development: Guide the team on best practices for prospecting, pipeline management, and closing techniques. Enhance the operational efficiency of the sales process through continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Day-to-Day Sales Management: Oversee the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals. Manage sales pipelines, set clear targets, track key metrics, and ensure timely execution of sales strategies.

  • Lead Generation & Development: Lead efforts to generate qualified leads through various channels. Develop and maintain processes that facilitate smooth lead handoff and conversion into opportunities for the sales team.

  • Deal Closings & Negotiations: Work closely with the sales team to manage and close deals. Provide guidance in complex negotiations and ensure proper documentation and contract execution.

  • Vision Setting: Establish and communicate a clear vision for the sales team that aligns with BankOnIT's strategic objectives. Inspire and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Expectations:

We are looking for someone who has experience in scaling a business and has contributed to growth in a sales environment, without needing decades of experience. If you’ve developed your skills in a larger organization (but not one that’s too large) and have been exposed to best practices in sales and operations, yet haven’t had the chance to lead a team, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.

This role provides the chance to apply your knowledge in a supportive environment. You’ll benefit from mentorship and direct collaboration with company leadership, offering both guidance and the freedom to make a significant impact.

This position is perfect for someone eager to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful difference, bringing fresh perspectives and a willingness to learn and grow with us.
